A hugely anticipated festival that almost didn’t happen – Chain Fest, presented by the iconic music venue, Chain Reaction, and Live Nation, took place in Irvine, CA over the weekend. The event was all-day festival full of great acts from the newly-reunited The Summer Set to the legendary headliners Taking Back Sunday and Jimmy Eat World. Southern California was lucky to have this festival, and after a shaky few years for the music world, both attendees and artists both seemed elated and relieved to share a night of live music together. After announcing their reunion post-hiatus, Arizona-natives, The Summer Set, returned to the stage for the first time in years. Check out their new single here!

Cartel finally made their way back to the west coast, and brought a setlist curated from their high-powered debut studio album, Chroma.

Anberlin kept the crowd energy up at Chain Fest as the sun started to lower for the day.  The group recently debuting their first single in seven years.

 

After playing songs off their much-loved debut album at Chain Fest, Mayday Parade is getting ready for another round of nostalgia with a world tour celebrating 11 years of their self-titled album. See dates here.

The always-high-energy powerhouse, Circa Survive, kept the nostalgia alive as they celebrated their album Blue Sky Noise turning a decade in 2020 with fans. The group will embark on a full tour celebrating the album starting 2022.

 

Taking Back Sunday took the stage to a hungry crowd, and they did not disappoint. Mosh pit and all. They’ll be heading to the UK early next year following their annual holiday show. Tickets can be found here. 

Closing out the night, Jimmy Eat World made an already-perfect day somehow even better. We love live music and are so grateful it’s back.
