Tate McRae is an endless romantic and all her songs reflect the experiences she had during her teenage years with bad lovers and friends who did not really care about her. At the age of thirteen, she gained prominence as the first Canadian finalist on the American reality TV show So You Think You Can Dance (2015 – present).
The Canadian 18 years-old artist released two EP in the past years, All The Things I Never Said (2020) and Too Young To Be Sad (2021), this one being the most streamed female EP of 2021 on Spotify.
Further, still under RCA label she released her debut studio album in May 2022, I Used To Think I Could Fly (2022) and soon gained recognition and positive reviews from critics, reaching the top 10 in different countries and entering the Billboard US at number thirteen.

We had the chance to catch Tate at her show in London at the O2 Academy Kentish Town, and she blew our minds. Her stage presence is unbelievable, and she really does know how to put a show on! Along with the band helping Tate to bring her favourite hits live, her dance crew also knows how to keep the attention on the stage. Tate and her crew seem to share a true friendship, which is totally felt at her concert.

Ultimately, Tate’s fanbase is strong and it is growing more and more: she engages a lot with her fans during the show, sharing emotional speeches about her songs, and making them feel at home. Tate sang some of her greatest hits such as She’s All I Wanna Be (2022), Don’t Come Back (2022) and You Broke Me First (2020) and made her fans lose their minds.

On stage, she is totally and amazingly chaotic, energetic and powerful. This is only the beginning of her career and we cannot wait to see what Tate is going to do next.
